Job Title: Behaviour Mentor Location: Bromley Salary: £85 - £100 per day Start Date: ASAP, February 2024 Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent   Are you an energetic, determined individual who is committed to assisting students in developing better behavioural skills? GSL Education is happy to offer a Behaviour Mentor the chance to work in dynamic secondary schools in Bromley. About the Position: Behaviour Mentor As a behaviour mentor, you will play a critical role in creating a supportive and elevating atmosphere for children. A proactive, compassionate person has a great opportunity to make a big difference in the lives of students who may have behavioural problems. Join us as we strive to establish a warm and compassionate learning atmosphere in Bromley. Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor: Establish trusting relationships with students who face behavioural challenges by offering them specialized support. Create a welcoming learning atmosphere by implementing efficient behaviour control techniques. Work together with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of every child. Give students guidance and support to help them cultivate a positive study attitude. Take part in the creation and execution of programs for behavioural intervention. Instruct your kids using fun and innovative teaching techniques to support their development of healthy emotional and behavioural traits.  Requirements as a Behaviour Mentor: Build reliable connections with students who struggle with behaviour issues by providing them with specific assistance. Use effective behaviour control strategies to foster a friendly learning environment. Collaborate with educators and other staff members to address each child's unique needs. Provide pupils with direction and encouragement to develop a positive study mindset. Participate in the development and implementation of behavioural intervention programs. Teach your children to develop positive emotional and behavioural traits by utilizing engaging and creative educational methods. An enhanced DBS on the update service.  Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
